Stab injury

The stab wound was with a kitchen knife, rib space 4-5 anterolateral, when we arrived. The patient was in clear hypovolemic shock status from the blood he had lost. The wound was not only penetrating but also turned so that we had free space for about 3 cm wide and 15-20cm long. It was when I used Celox to stop the bleeding and like by the hand of God, after 5 minutes it stopped. The man is living and fine because of Celox.
